Ayuviva is not just a brand - it is our personal story. We, Rico and Anina, decided to leave our lives in Switzerland behind to make a new start in Sri Lanka. There, surrounded by the diverse nature and the roots of the Ayurvedic tradition, we found something that changed our lives: true balance and a deeper understanding of health in harmony with nature.
Our journey took us to the small tea and spice farmers who work in harmony with nature and have passed on their knowledge of the healing power of plants for generations. This is where the vision of Ayuviva was born - a brand that brings this wisdom to your home. We live Ayuviva every day, in everything we do. With this conviction, we want to inspire you to discover Ayurveda as part of your life and to build a community for conscious, healthy living with us.
Our vision – health in harmony with nature 🌱
We dream of a world where health, conscious choices and sustainability merge together. With Ayuviva we want to achieve exactly that - create a global movement that inspires people to live in harmony with themselves and nature.
But our vision goes beyond our products: We want to give back where we can, be it through fair partnerships, protecting natural resources or sustainable projects in Sri Lanka. Our community is an essential part of this - because together we can make a positive difference and create a world in which well-being is not the exception, but the norm.
Our values – quality without compromise 🌿
Quality starts at the roots - and that's exactly why we work closely with small farmers in Sri Lanka who still cultivate their fields in a traditional, pesticide-free way. Although we do not currently have organic certification, we know that our raw materials meet the highest standards - because they come directly from nature.
Thanks to our strict selection criteria, you can be sure that with every sip and every spoonful you get only the best of Sri Lanka's pure nature. Our products are rich in natural flavors and valuable nutrients that support your health - without compromise.
Fair Trade – Our answer to the challenges of the tea industry 🍃
The tea industry is often characterized by low margins and unfair conditions. But we believe that things can be different. For us, fair trade means not only fair prices, but long-term partnerships that strengthen everyone involved.
Our small farmers receive a fair wage for their work, and we are committed to preserving and developing their traditional farming methods. Through this direct collaboration, we can offer products that are good for both you and the local people. Together, we are changing how tea and other Ayurvedic products are produced and traded.
